CM Shehbaz gifts four luxurious buses to students of medical college

Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique has said that Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken concrete step for the promotion of medical education and development of health sector in the province.
He further said that newly-established medical colleges would be helpful in overcoming shortage of doctors. He said this while addressing a ceremony in connection with the handing over of four Daewoo buses to Principal Ameer ud Din Medical College gifted by Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the students of the college.
On this occasion, Chairman Board of Management General (r) Zia ud Din Butt, faculty members, Medical Superintendent of Lahore General Hospital Muhammad Niaz and a number of students of the college were also present.
Principal Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood informed that the students of Ameer ud Din Medical College had shown outstanding performance during the last four years and they are getting distinction in the annual exams.
Rafique said Sharif, keeping in view the outstanding performance of the students of the Ameer ud Din Medical College has provided luxurious buses worth Rs 48 million for the students. He said that the comfortable travelling facilities would not only save the time of the students but also provide an opportunity to concentrate on their studies.
Rafique further said that Central Research Lab is also being set up in LGH and the chief Minister has provided Rs 268 million. Principal Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood said that Central Research Lab would be a great addition to the research facilities for the students. Mahmood thanked Sharif for providing four buses for the students of the College. Board of Management Chairman General Zia ud Din Butt also addressed the ceremony and appreciated the government efforts for the promotion and development of health sector in Punjab.

  1. It will indeed help the students to gain more confidence by the time and it will proved to be a good thing for them as well, so the more you do for the students more there would be talent you need for the economic terms.
