A young man was injured in the firing incident over a petty matter within the Race Course police jurisdiction.
Zameer Bibi, a resident of Racecourse, lodged a complaint with the local police that Sheikh Usman had allegedly shot his son Amjad. The assailant escaped from the scene leaving the injured on the street.
A passerby informed the police and mother of injured man. The police rushed the injured to local hospital who was provided with the medical treatment.
The police have registered a case and started investigation. A murder section was included in the case.
