Punjab government has accorded approval to fill 1,376 vacant posts of teachers in the schools of Rawalpindi district.

The appointment process of teachers will be started after approval of schedule for recruitment from Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. The Punjab education secretary is seeking approval for appointment of 1,376 teachers in the schools at district Rawalpindi under the recruitment policy.

Sources said that the posts of teachers were to be advertised in the month of July and August but the process was delayed due to local bodies polls.

Sources said that since the local bodies elections have been held, the vacant posts of teachers will be advertised soon.
