During one-day visit to Turkey, Turk President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglue and Mayor Istanbul Kadir Topbas accorded unprecedented welcome to Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Besides meetings of three Turk leaders with Pakistani delegations, Sharif also held one-on-one meetings. The schedule of meeting of chief minister with Turk President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was 45 minutes but it lasted for more than two and a half hours.
The interest of Turk leadership in the personality of Sharif can be judged from the fact that Turk Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglue personally uploaded the video of his meeting with Sharif on facebook account which has been liked by thousands of persons.
