Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) district Malir workers have showed reservation on the electoral process in their area and demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to conduct re-polls there.

Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, Inayat Khatak of PTI said the staff appointed at the polling station was completely untrained and resultantly the polling was not started on time. He said that in most of the polling stations the staff was insufficiently trained to handle the polling process.

He said that the government had appointed its blue eyed persons as presiding officers to favor the ruling party. He said that they had received proofs which suggested the polling process had been rigged especially in areas where the position of the ruling party and other influential parties was weak.

He said that the ECP had failed to conduct transparent elections despite their complaints.

Rejecting the whole process of election, he demanded of the authorities to conduct re polls under the supervision of military and demanded that those involved in the rigging should be arrested.
