Ambassador on Polio Eradication Aseefa Bhutto Zardari on Monday said that we need to work hard to save our children from being disabled because of polio.
Addressing a Vaccinators Convention in Sukkur, she said that children are our future and we have to save them from disability, adding that polio-free Pakistan was a dream of former prime minister Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
Asifa said that Pakistan had worked hard against polio and only 49 cases had emerged in the country in one-year but that we need completely eradicate the disease from the country.
Asifa Bhutto said that the route to eliminating polio was not easy and many vaccinators had sacrificed their lives.
