An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Tuesday dismissed bail application of an accused involved in Kasur Child abuse case.
ATC-1V Judge Chaudhry Muhammad Ilyas heard the bail application filed by accused Usman Khalid. During the hearing, the petitioner’s counsel arguing before the court submitted that the accused had been arrested in connection with Kasur child abuse case but the police had failed to produce any evidence against him. He pleaded the court to grant benefit of bail to the accused.
However, a deputy prosecutor opposed the request and submitted that the accused was found guilty during the investigation and police had evidence against them.
The court after hearing arguments of parties dismissed the bail application of accused.
