UC vice chairman remanded in police custody

A newly-elected vice chairman from Gujranwala was Monday remanded in police custody for 14 days after he was arrested in intoxicated condition.

Qasim Riaz who has been elected vice chairman from UC-43 of Gujranwala in recently held local bodies election, was arrested after he was caught drunken on night between Sunday and Monday. He was produced in court of the sessions judge who remanded him in police custody for 14 days.
