The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Saturday issued a notification about winning candidates of Local Government (LG) elections held in Islamabad on Monday.
According to the final results, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has lost another chairman seat, taking its tally down to 16 from 17 reported earlier.
Independent candidates have got the prized seat after which their number surged to 14 from 13. The ruling PML-N on the other hand has bagged 20 seats in the capital.
In a statement earlier this week, PTI Chairman Imran Khan accused the ruling PML-N of altering results on Monday night, but he insisted that his party would field its candidate for the post of mayor.
