Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that the success of PML-N candidates in local government elections is the result of people’s friendly policies of the government and popularity of PML-N.
Talking to newsmen in Sialkot, he said the local government elections would help further strengthen democratic institutions of the country and empower the masses at grassroots level.
He said the people are backing Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s policies for bringing the country out of crises and putting it on a right track for prosperity and development.
The minister said people have rejected negative politics and extended their full support to the PML-N and its policies for bringing radical change in every sphere of life.
