Unknown accused set a sleeping person on fire leaving him critically scorched and fled the scene after committing the crime on Sunday.
Police said the incident took place in Jamrah area of Shikarpur where unidentified culprit sprinkled petrol on a sleeping person, showed the flame and escaped the scene. The affected person was rushed to Civil Hospital Shikarpur where according to medics his 40 percent body was adversely scorched. The police after registering a case against unknown accused at respective police station have started the investigation.
