15 injured as passenger coach falls into a ravine in Shangla

At least 15 people were injured when a passenger coach skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge here on Saturday.

Police said that the accident occurred in Bihar area where a Mingora bound passenger coach coming from Alpuri area of Shangla plunged into a ravine resultantly, the people  including four women and a child sustained wounds.

The police and locals shifted the injured to THQ Hospital Khawazakhela and after first aid transferred them to Saidu Sharif Hospital. Four among the injured were referred to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) Peshawar, in critical condition.

Police said that the accident took place due to over speeding and poor condition of the road.
