An agreement has been signed between University of London and Punjab Education Department for providing training to the teachers of the province.
Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan and vice chancellor of University of London signed the agreement in the office of the university. Administrative officers of the university and various members of Pakistani delegation, currently on a tour to Britain, were present on the occasion. Under the agreement, the University of London will send its experts for providing training to the teachers while a programme has been prepared for a visit of delegation of teachers of Punjab to University of London.
Rana Mashhood said that process of education reforms will become more effective and accelerated with the implementation of training programme for teachers. He said that on the instructions of the Punjab chief minister, this agreement has been signed with University of London and the chief minister is very enthusiastic regarding implementation of the agreement.
