Head of a family lost his life and his wife and three children sustained severe injuries in a cylinder blast in Khanna Dak area here on Saturday.
The incident occurred at 7 am when a cylinder exploded due to gas leakage.
The man named Aziz died on the spot whereas his wife and three children were scorched badly.
All the four wounded were shifted to burn centre of PIMS hospital in critical condition.
Moreover, the house also endured great damage from the blast.
The injured were rushed to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) where the house owner died while the scorched woman and girls were under treatment at burn unit of the hospital and according to hospital sources their condition was also serious.
