The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Saturday took notice of Landhi law and order situation that erupted following Rangers’ raid at Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) sector office in the area.

The ECP has sought a report of the incident from provincial election commissioner and district returning officer (DRO). Meanwhile, the ECP secretary telephoned Sindh police inspector general and directed him to resolve the issue at the earliest. Earlier, the political activists, reportedly wearing badges of electoral symbol candle, attacked Samaa team during coverage of Rangers raid on MQM sector office in Landhi. The charged activists tried to snatch camera of a private TV channel.
