The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assembly passed a resolution on Friday against changing the route of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The resolution demanded that the agreement of the CPEC should be made public.
According to details, as the session of the KP assembly started, Provincial Minister Aneesa Zaib forwarded the motion against CPEC route changing. The House passed the resolution with consensus. The resolution stated that all disputes in the project should be solved and the route should be the one announced by Prime Minister (PM) on May 28. It also demanded that gas pipeline, railway, LNG and fibre should be added along with the motorway, on the western route.
