Two men including a boy were killed while 12 others received injuries in a road accident in Jhaverian police limits on Friday.
According to police sources, a passenger van (TH-332) was heading towards Jharverian when a truck (SGG-855) coming from opposite direction collided with the vehicle near Manke Wala.
As a result, 12-year-old boy Muhammad Naveed and an unidentified man died on the spot while 12 persons including Saffia Bibi, Zaheer Abbas, Tanveer, Hayat Bibi, Gull Naz and others suffered injuries.
Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to DHQ hospital. Police registered a case and started investigations.
