Three injured in Quetta hand grenade attack near hospital

At least three people were injured in a hand grenade attack near a private hospital by unidentified culprits on Wednesday night.

Police said that, unidentified miscreants hurled a hand grenade at people near a private hospital located at Mekangi road of the provincial capital and fled the scene.

Three people were wounded in the attack who were rushed to hospital by the rescue personnel.

Police and security personnel reached the scene of attack and cordoned off the site before conducting a search operation in the area. No arrest has been made yet.

Balochistan Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti condemned the attack saying that the government would not allow terrorists to fulfill their nefarious designs. “Such acts can’t shake our resolve to eliminate terrorism from the country,” he said.
