Punjab government has announced public holiday on December 5 in Rawalpindi on the occasion of local bodies (LB) polls.
A notification has been issued in this respect by the Punjab government. Election Commission has arranged the services of army to ensure polls are held peacefully. Army and Rangers contingent will be deployed in 46 union councils of the municipal corporation.
