President Mamnoon Hussain has said that there is a need to adopt better marketing policy for enhancing export of defence production.
He was addressing a seminar on public-private partnership in production and export of defence equipments on Wednesday. The president said the country had yet not been able to exploit its true potential in defense-related exports due to weak marketing, law and order situation and problems being faced by this region.
He said there was need to enhance defence production capabilities for economic stability of the country. Public-private partnership in defense production will usher in new era in the progress of this industry, he added.
Mamnoon said Pakistan was producing state-of-the-art defense products and it had also exported these to some friendly countries.
