Lashes out at govt, politicians and bureaucrats for uniting against him
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan on Tuesday kicked off Clean and Green Peshawar campaign and once again lashed out at the incumbent government by stating that the federal government, politicians and bureaucrats had become united in opposition to him.
Addressing the participants at Nishtar Hall in Peshawar, the PTI chief said that he did not know whether the government of Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) would survive till 2018 or not but that the politicians and bureaucrats had united at one place.
“We take pride in our country. We will start with making Clean Peshawar a model,” he said.
Khan said that empowerment of masses is PTI’s top priority.
The volunteers scuffled inside the hall for meeting Khan prompting him to comment that they are pathans which is why they are quick to anger.
Khan also announced to construct parks and grounds on encroached land in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and claimed that more than 10 crore trees had already been planted and vowed to plant a total of 1.2 billion saplings by 2018.
He further said that he would ask Frontier Corps (FC) for their land to turn it into food streets, a recreational and a park area.
