An accountability court sent former Vice Chancellor Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Dr Khwaja Alqama to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) produced the accused in the court on Wednesday for extension of physical remand, the court sources said. He is facing charges for establishing Sub-campus of the varsity in Lahore illegally.
The sources added that the court rejected NAB request and sent former VC, BZU and Director Lahore Sub Campus Arsalan Bhatti to jail on judicial remand for 14 days.
