Two children were dead and five others including women injured in collision between a truck and a car here on Monday.
According to police, the accident occurred at Shah Hussain Bypass of Khairpur where an over speeding loaded truck collided head-on with a private car. Two children died on the spot in the collision while five others including two women sustained wounds.
The truck driver managed to escape from the scene. The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities and the police after registering a case have started efforts for his arrest.
