PTI Punjab Organiser Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has accused returning officer of using illegal and forceful ways to turn PTI victorious candidates into losers.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he presented audio evidence regarding victory of Federal Minister Saira Afzal Tarar’s father during recounting in Hafizabad.
He said, “We do not want politics of confrontation in the country, but the government is using ways to compel us to do so and make us believe that electoral process can not bring change in the country. Rs 40 billion mini budgets is the drone attack on poor people launched by the elite, which will bring influx of inflation in the country.”
Leaders of PTI, PML-Q including Mehmood ur Rasheed, Chaudhry Sarwar, Monis Elahi and others vowed to initiate electoral reforms to resolve problems of common people regarding LG elections.
