Lahore – Our Cheeni Correspondent: The PML-N, generally thought of as a pro-Punjab political party, has decided to address the reservations of the other federating units regarding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
The party has decided to meet the demands of the smaller provinces halfway, not by accepting the demand of a proper western route, but by allocating funds for one massage parlour in each of the two provinces.
“Yes, we realise that the KP and Balochistan governments wanted nothing less than full work on the western route,” said Ahsan Iqbal, the federal planning minister. “But they have to work in the interests of the federation as well.”
“Running a successful federation is all about give and take,” he added. “After all, haven’t we sacrificed those two massage parlours, which were going to be constructed in Punjab otherwise?”
The planning minister further made some things very clear. “These are not going to be those seedy sort of massage parlours, and for that, I am very sorry.”
In addition to this, the minister also discussed other aspects and status of the project.
“We are steaming on, full speed ahead, and are constructing around 3 kilometres every day. Unfortunately, it is the same 3 kilometres that we are constructing every day,” he said. “This means that our total cost is going to exceed our budget and therefore some aspects of the project may have to be cut. Like the massage parlours.”
He further added that the masseuse (massage girl ) posts will be filled by naturally trained masseuse from lahore , yet we cant give kpk and baluchistan the natural route of CPEC.
forgot to mention that the massage parlours will not give happy endings.
