Teachers of Govt schools have stopped sending exam admissions forms to hundreds of students of grade five and eight to hide their negligence and poor teaching skills while some teachers are forcing student to buy key books for the preparations of examinations.

According to details yearly exams of grade five and eight would be held in Feb 2016 under the Punjab Examination Commission. For this purpose the heads of primary and middle schools have started sending admissions of students. 30 Nov is the deadline for the admissions.

Parents of students said that teachers and heads of many schools have stopped sending the admission forms of such students who they believe would fail. The heads of institutions fear that in case of poor results, they may face departmental enquiry and to ensure 100% results in the exams, they are sending the forms for only those students, about whom they are certain. Hundreds of the students would thus be affected by this action.

A head of school told INP that many students fail in primary and middle examinations and teachers get punished for the failure of students. He said teachers conduct pre-exams tests in schools and those students who fail in the exams are not considered suitable to appear in the exams and thus their admission forms are not forwarded.
