At least two people were injured when a speedy car of MNA Jamshed Dasti knocked them down in Khanpur area here on Friday.
Dasti was on his way to attend a rally of one of his candidates who is contesting the local body polls, when his car hit two people near Dajal check post. As a result, two people sustained injuries. Area people gathered on the spot and lodged a strong protest against the lawmaker who fled from the scene. They alleged that the accident occurred due to over speeding and reckless driven car of Jamshed Dasti. The protestors also demanded a case of hit-and-run against him.
