A couple has been looted at gunpoint within the Banni police jurisdiction.
Nadeem Iqbal, a resident of Banni, lodged a complaint with the local police that two armed men on motorcycle intercepted him and his wife on a main road and snatched his wife’s purse containing Rs0.5 million in cash, a diamond set worth Rs1.0 million and an ATM card.
The police have registered a case, however, no arrests or recoveries has been made till the filing of this report.
