62 polling stations in Islamabad declared most sensitive

The District Administration of Islamabad has declared 62 polling stations in the capital as the most sensitive and other 522 sensitive during the local Government elections to be held on November 30.

Only 56 polling stations have been identified as normal.

According to report submitted by Special Branch of Islamabad Police, survey said that polling stations located in all corners of Islamabad are pointed as most sensitive suggesting special security arrangements in 62 stations.

According to details of the report, SB started its survey from Police Station(PS) Aabpara, where only two polling stations are most sensitive, PS Kohsar carry six and Bharakahu have only three the most sensitive polling stations.

In the jurisdiction of PS Bani Gala, where Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf resides, only one polling station is most sensitive, PS Karachi Company have four, PS Ramna with four and PS Golra having three polling stations are most sensitive.

Polling stations located in area of PS Tarnol are only two but Industrial Area Police have to keep tight security at five polling stations, Sabzi Mandi and Noon Police stations have four polling stations each are sensitive, reveals the report of Special Branch.

Six polling stations in the areas of PS Koral and Sihala are also declared Most Sensive, PS Lohi Bher have only one most sensitive polling stations. Area of PS Khanna is also less sensitive as they carry only two in number of polling stations, PS Nilour have five sensitive polling stations and PS Shahzad Town have three polling stations as most sensitive.

Normal security arrangements were suggested in 522 polling stations but no security suggested in 56 normal polling stations.
