Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Friday apprehended four officials of Capital Development Authority (CDA) on their alleged involvement in corruption of millions of rupees and for extending cooperation in construction of illegal Katchi Abadis.
These officials will be produced before district court today to obtain their physical remand.
According to FIA sources, the arrested officials included supervisors Amir Jan, supervisor Nadeem, Shahid Kazmi and Usman Lashari. Sources further said that 15 CDA officials have been arrested so far for their alleged cooperation in the construction of Kachchi Abadis and 5 among them have been released on interim bail.
