The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Thursday strongly demanded deployment of army personnel inside and outside the polling stations in third phase of local bodies election in Karachi.
While talking to media, the leaders of PTI and JI urged that the election commission to appoint army soldiers on the day of election. PTI’s Ali Zaidi stated that the deputation of Army can only make election transparent. “We will accept the results if the elections will be held in a fair way,” he added.
