Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Mehmoodur Rasheed on Monday submitted a resolution in the Punjab Assembly against the hangings of the opposition leaders in Bangladesh.

The resolution stated that Bangladesh was continuously violating the human rights by executing the supporters of Pakistan ideology. In his resolution, Rasheed urged the government to take up the issue with the International Court of Justice. The move comes a day after the Foreign Office expressed deep concern and anguish over the unfortunate executions of Bangladesh National Party leaders Salauddin Quader Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Mojaheed.
