Rangers apprehend 51 suspects during raids

Rangers have apprehended 51 suspects including activists of banned outfits during search operations in different areas of the city.

On a tip-off, Rangers conducted door-to-door checking of houses in Natha Khan, Pirabad and other areas of Karachi. During the operation, the entry and exit points of the area were sealed and more than 100 houses were checked by the personnel. More than 44 suspects were taken into custody.

As many as 20 suspected persons including drug-peddler and activists of banned outfits were held and weapons were recovered during the search operation in Hazara Goth an area of Natha Khan.

Some 22 suspected persons including drug-peddler and activist of banned outfits were held during the search operation in Kuwari Colony an area of Manghopir. They were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation. During the search operation, a huge cache of weapons, explosives and ammunitions were recovered from their possession. Meanwhile, police arrested two persons for their involvement in various street crimes, and target killing in the metropolitan city during the raid in Sharif Colony area. Police recovered weapons, ammunitions, 270 grams of drugs and stolen motorcycle from their possessions.
