An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday issued a show cause notice to the jail superintendent for not presenting four suspects in the Suleman Lashari murder case.
The hearing of the case was held in Karachi during which, the jail authorities failed to present suspects to the court, at which the judge issued a show cause notice to the superintendent.
The accused included Salman Abro, Rashid, Yaseen Maqbool and Imran who were identified by Suleman’s mother and brother. Subsequently, the court adjourned the hearing till December 4.
Earlier, the medical board presented its report declaring the accused underage as their ages ranged from 17 to 18.
According to details of the case, the son of a police officer allegedly broke into a house along with police personnel in Defence, killing Suleman Lashari, while an attacker policeman was also killed in retaliation.
Salman Abro was later arrested in injured condition from Ziauddin hospital in Clifton area while four policemen were also rounded up.
