Bangladesh government summoned Pakistan high commissioner to Bangladesh over statements from the country’s top officials on the executions of two BNP leaders as ‘war criminals’, a senior diplomat said on Sunday.

The official who spoke on condition of anonymity told a Bangladeshi news outlet that the Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Suja Alam had been summoned by acting foreign secretary Mizanur Rahaman.

“The Pakistan envoy has been directed to meet Ministry of Foreign Affairs at 2:30PM on Monday,” the diplomat said.

Earlier, Pakistan’s Foreign Office reacted over BNP leader Salauddin Quader Chowdhury and Jamaat-e-Islami secretary general Ali Ahsan Muhammad Mojahid’s execution.

“Pakistan is deeply disturbed at this development,” said the Foreign Office spokesperson in a statement regarding the execution on Sunday.

The statement said that there was a need for reconciliation in Bangladesh in accordance with the spirit of the Pakistan, Bangladesh and India Agreement of April 9, 1974.

“The Agreement calls for a forward looking approach in matters relating to 1971. This would foster goodwill and harmony,” the statement said.

If yes, firstly let answer why didn't you taken back 25,000 Pakistani's who were living in Bangladesh who all were waiting to go back to Pakistan? Secondly, why don't you search all Pakistan lovers from all around the world and take them to Pakistan and make then your citizen.
