Sikh pilgrims visited the Darbar Sahib Guru Nanak at Kartarpura, Shakargarh on Sunday.
They performed their religious rites and distributed charity meals and sweets.
MPA Sardar Ramaish Singh Arora welcomed the Sikh pilgrims. They also distributed special sweets among people besides extending gratitude to the Muslims.
The Sikhs pilgrims, including Sardar Balbeet Singh, Preet Kaur and Manmohan Singh, Sardar Badal Singh lauded the Pakistan government’s sincere efforts for safeguarding Gurudawaras and their other sacred places.
On this occasion, foolproof security arrangements were made by police and other security agencies.
