Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani has said that democracy and rule of law are interconnected and imbalance in any of the two affects other.
Talking to the media after offering condolence over the death of ex-PCB Manager Yawar Abbas with his family members here on Sunday, Rabbani said national institutions will strengthen only when the rule of law is followed and the constitution of the country is kept supreme.
He said that democracy has no threat till the institutions continue to work within their jurisdictions.
He claimed that sacrifices rendered by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) pioneers and leadership are matchless.
He paid rich tributes to PPP deceased leader Makhdoom Ameen Fahim for his services for democracy and development of the country.
If 'democracy' and Rule of Law – both are NOT available in the country – then ? And you know better than many that they are not available. You had demanded Ehtsaab of ALL (including NAB).
