Complying with the orders of Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, a new department of Neurology has been established at Lahore General Hospital to provide every possible medical facility to the patients.
Two machines worth Rs10 million have also been installed to immediately diagnose the problems of mental patients.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute Prof Khalid Mahmood said that newly started Neurology Department would offer services to outdoor patients for two days a week – Tuesday and Friday.
Prof Mahmood said that newly installed machines would go a long way to find out the complications of muscles related problems. Head of Neurology Department Professor Dr Shahid Mukhtar and Senior Registrar Dr Rashid Imran were also present on the occasion.
