Chief Conservator Wildlife Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar has notified that shooting of partridges including. See-See partridge, black partridge, grey partridge and chakur partridge will be permissible in the province with effect from Sunday 15 Nov till Sunday 7 February 2016. The hunting of partridges will be allowed in all areas of the province except the following game reserves.
Bagh in Totalai of District Buner, Rakh Sardaran of District Haripur, Darmalak,Toi Banda, Choda and Chukhto of District Kohat and Shinawari of District Hangu. Hunting shall not be allowed in protected areas except game reserves, private game reserves and community game reserves. Hunting shall be permissible only on Sundays and gazetted holidays.
The following fee will be charged for various licenses or special permits during 2015-16 shooting season until revised otherwise. Small game shooting license will be Rs. 2000 per annum, special permit for shooting in a game reserve would be Rs. 2000 per day and possession license for dog will be Rs. 250 per annum.
Please preserve them – dont' shoot. One of Nature's gift to humanity. They are already on verge of extinction and Sind has already banned to shoot or poach them.
