Assistant Commissioner (AC) Secretariat Islamabad Waqas Rashid has imposed ban on motor boating in Rawal Lake for two months to keep the lake water pollution free.
The ban has been slapped under section 144 and orders will stand implemented with immediate effect. Rawal Lake will be proceeded against under the laws.
The AC Secretariat has also imposed ban under section 144 on erecting illegal constructions in the areas of Noor Pur Shahan, Kurri and Rehara for two months.
