Model Ayyan Ali’s name has been put on Exit Control List (ECL) due to her involvement in money-laundering case.
According to immigration officials, all airports in the country including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Peshawar have been informed about the development.
Meanwhile, the Lahore High Court (LHC) will start hearing on a plea filed by model Ayyan Ali next week after a Customs Court Rawalpindi indicted her in currency smuggling case.
Justice Abdul Sami Khan of LHC will take up the plea for hearing next week.
Ayyan has taken plea in her appeal that allegations of currency smuggling levelled against her are baseless.
Ayyan was released on bail in July and her lawyer has said she had no intention to take money outside Pakistan.
