Unknown armed robbers reportedly snatched a truck loaded with wheat bags near Sangjani Toll plaza here.
Lodging the complaint with Tarnol Police, truck driver Sajjad told the police that he was carrying 600 bags wheat in his truck to Peshawar when four armed persons intercepted him at some distance ahead of Sangjani Toll plaza. They tied him and conductor and took both of them to jungle. They snatched mobile phones, cash valuing Rs 45,000 and the truck, he said.
Police have registered the case and started investigation.
