English club Manchester United are reportedly closing in on Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben and Real Madrid Gareth Bale which will cost them £150million.
Louis van Gaal’s team have been previously linked with both left-foot players, and most recently Robben has been their main target after Robert Lewandowski’s claimed that he was not a fan of Munich’s wide man’s reluctance to pass the ball.
Meanwhile, Bale has been facing a lot of critique from media and Madrid fans alike as he has not been able to emulate the first season performance at the Bernabeu.
Manchester United winger Jesse Lingard revealed that he turned down Liverpool’s offer to sign up for the Red Devils, according to Mirror.co.uk.
Lingard, 22, received his first full England call-up following a handful of impressive displays for United in the past month.
The Warrington-born winger scored his first United goal in the 2-0 win over West Brom before the international break.
Lingard said he rejected the Liverpool offer because he was a fan of the Old Trafford club.
