The Lahore High Court (LHC) Wednesday gave the custody of three children to their father.
The children cried as they wanted to go with their grandmother.
Justice Irum Sajjad heard a petition of Muhammad Ramzan, a resident of Nankana Sahib in the Lahore High Court. The petitioner had requested for the custody of his three children Tayyaba, Haider and Malaika.
The children appeared before the court along with their grandmother Nasreen and told the court that she was looking after the children after her daughter’s death. She said that the children were in her custody with consent of their father Muhammad Ramzan. “I am looking after the kids, they are happy and they wanted to live with me,” she said.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Ramzan said that he wanted the custody of the children and they should be handed over to him.
The court ordered Nasreen Bibi to hand over children to their father but the children started crying as they did not want to go with their father.
