Former Khyber Pakhtunkwa minister and Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) leader Bakht Baidar on Tuesday denied he was withdrawing the defamation case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan after his party had rejoined the provincial government.
“I will fight the case till its logical end,” Baidar told reporters on the KP Assembly premises.
The QWP leader, who was expelled from the provincial cabinet on corruption charges in November 2013, said he would pursue the Rs 1 billion defamation suit against Khan until the latter apologised over his derogatory remarks against him.
Baidar had filed the defamation suit with the district and sessions court against the PTI chairman for removing him without any proof of corruption.
