The Customs authorities Wednesday foiled a bid to smuggle seven kilograms gold to Pakistan from UEA by nabbing one accused at Allama Iqbal Airport Lahore.
A passenger namely Muhammad Rizwan arrived at the airport from Dubai through a private plane. On suspicion, the Custom authorities searched him and recovered at least seven kg gold from his possession. The accused had tied gold with his legs. The accused belongs to Khawaja Saeed Kot area of Lahore. He was shifted to undisclosed place for investigation.
