The Anti-Narcotics Force on Monday foiled a bid to smuggle heroin to South Africa, arresting a woman smuggler at Benazir International Airport.
According to ANF, a woman passenger whose name was not revealed was taken into custody at Benazir International Airport by ANF when 4 kg of heroin worth millions of rupees was recovered from her possession during search.
ANF sources said that the woman was about to fly for South Africa when she was detained at the airport.
A case was registered against the accused and the investigation is underway.
