Paris welcomes Raheel in Washington

When Premier Nawaz visited Washington late last month, he met with a speculative media campaign. But as COAS Gen Raheel Sharif arrived in Washington he was welcomed by, besides officials, Paris attacks, Afghans attack on Angoor Adda, and a notorious Pakistani money changer’s arrest in the USA, which is said to be the result of the tip off by Indian intelligence agency’s undercover agent called Chhota Rajan. Reports say the money changer has revealed some big name which the American investigators have not so far disclosed.

Nawaz Sharif, during his US yatra, was given proofs of three Pakistanis’ involvement in Gurdaspur attacks, which means the US is also pleading India’s case. The PM couldn’t defend Pakistan’s case despite having with him irrefutable evidence of Indian involvement in acts of terrorism across Pakistan. Ironically the PM handed over the dossier to Secretary Kerry, instead of giving it to President Obama. The US has reportedly pointed to a ‘big fish’, which Pakistan can be asked to hand over. So the challenge ahead for the COAS is not a small one.
