Provincial Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar on Monday took notice of the closure of Makkli Dialysis Centre and directed Health Secretary to resolve the issue at the earliest in order to save the patients from further problems.
This he said while presiding over a meeting at his office. He said that the required funds should not only be released but the stakeholders concerned be taken on board to solve the matter immediately.
Meanwhile, Jam Mehtab expressed his concerns over growing incidents of violence against health care service providers especially against doctors and stressed the need to promote tolerance in the society. He was of the opinion unless we promote tolerance we could not achieve our objective.
He directed secretary health to provide all necessary treatment to diarrhea patients who were affected by polluted water in Ibrahim Hyderi Karachi and he also called upon MS of government hospital Hyderi to take out all efforts in treatment of the patients.
Secretary health Dr Saeed Ahmed Mangnejo and additional secretary Dr Dabeer also attended the meeting.
