Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said that Pakistan abhors all manifestations of terrorism and extremism and stands firmly behind the people and Government of France amidst Paris terrorist attacks. He said that Pakistan shares the grief and sorrow of the French people, victims and bereaved families.
He said that while addressing the annual charity bazaar organized by Pakistan Foreign Office Women’s Association (PFOWA) at Foreign Office, Islamabad today. Mrs. Ayaz Sadiq was also present at the occasion.
Calling terrorism a common challenge for the modern human civilization, he said that such heinous attacks are carried out in contradiction of every moral and religion. He said that Pakistan has been a victim of terrorism for more than a decade and understands the pain and sufferings that France is experiencing in this hour. He asserted the need of joined efforts to eradicate this evil and said that Pakistan has been bravely combating against terrorism by taking extraordinary strategic measures and can extend its support to the world community to end this menace.
Earlier, the Speaker inaugurated the annual charity bazaar and said that this event has provided a unique opportunity to showcase diverse cultures with a noble cause of strengthening PFOWA’s philanthropic projects. He also appreciated the organizers for their initiatives in celebrating cultural diversity on a single platform.
